Energy management in railroad applications includes an on-board energy measurement system (EMS) and a ground-based data collection system (DCS).
These systems enable railroad companies to manage energy costs for each train based on real, accurate and controlled measurements in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2018/868 in Europe.

Combines energy measurement and communication in a single solution
TEMA4G combines the EM4TII+ on-board energy meter from LEM – which is already in use in many trains and has proven its worth there – with an industrial modem with 4G and GPS connectivity.
The system provides access to detailed load profiles and numerous system parameters via its web interface.
