RHS series: The RHS resistors have a wide resistance range from 0.05 Ω to 51 kΩ, the power range varies from 8 W to 60 W in the absence of a heat sink.
The wide resistance range mentioned above is made possible by the characteristics of the resistive element, which consists of a wound resistive wire on a ceramic substrate.
This solution enables good performance under constant load, but restricts use under impulsive loads.
RHS resistors have an IP 54 degree of protection: Power range from 8 W up to 300 W Resistance range from 0.05 Ω up to 51 kΩ SRF series: These resistors consist of aluminum housings with or without integrated heat sink, which can be mounted via side or front holes or special brackets.
The design of these resistors involves inserting resistor spirals into corresponding ceramic parts.
The resulting elements are then assembled in their housings and filled with a suitable inorganic filler that is resistant to temperatures above 450°C.
These types of resistors have a high degree of protection (IP53/IP55) and can be fitted with thermal switches that can be mounted either on the outside or inside of the aluminum housing.
